Payment Terms
- Net 30 with approved credit.
- Account with 30-day overdue is subject to late charge of 2% per month and credit holding. Open orders from overdue accounts will be held until the balance is cleared. Lotus reserves right to withdraw the terms for future orders.
- $35.00 fee for returned checks.
Shipping
- Best way: FedEx ground, or common carrier. Special shipping request can be handled, with extra shipping cost being undertaken by customers.
- Customer is responsible for any additional delivery fees, including but not limited to lift-gate fee, inside delivery fee, COD fee, residential address charge, dock fee, appointment fee, and etc.
- Please call for cold weather shipping procedures for living plants.
Order pick-up
- Pick up by appointment only.
- Minimum of one week notice is required.
Damage, Shortage and Claims
- Always check the cartons upon receipt.
- If the visible damage is found and occurs due to the shipping via commercial carriers, customer has the right to refuse or return merchandise. If you choose to accept the shipment with visible damage, please mark on the delivery receipt “received damaged”. Please retain damaged goods, cartons and packing materials as well for carrier’s inspection.
- Any kind of damage and shortage is required by report within 48 hours of the receipt. Customer must submit our claim form.
Returned Merchandise
- Subject to a 20% restocking fee
